An employment contract is a written legal document that lays out the binding terms and conditions of employment between an employee and an employer. Employers don’t have to enter into a written contracts with every employee they hire. In fact, written employment contracts are generally the exception rather than the rule. By definition, non-profit corporations exist not to make money but to fulfill one of the purposes recognized under federal law: charitable, religious, educational, scientific or literary activities. Under the law, as long as a nonprofit is organized and operated for one of these recognized non-profit purposes, it can make a profit.
A successful joint venture allows two individuals, corporations, or governmental entities to achieve a marketplace success they would not have been able to achieve alone.
