MIKE McCOLLOCH / Owner
Hello. My name is Mike McColloch. I have been providing top-quality legal representation to southern Californians for 45 years.
I am a proven trial lawyer, having represented hundreds of business and individual clients, either as plaintiffs or defendants, in civil cases in all state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. I am known as a smart, aggressive, fearless litigator, willing to take on tough “bet-the-company” cases. I will put my record of success up against anyone’s.
I also am an experienced business lawyer, providing transactional advice and representation to a variety of small and midsize companies and well-funded startups with respect to such matters as entity formation and governance, commercial transactions and contracts, board and management disputes, licensing, and employment. I have particular expertise in hospitality law as the result of representing numerous restaurants, hotels, wineries and vineyards.
For much of my career I was a senior partner of the Los Angeles office of a 300-attorney national firm, but I have returned to my roots in San Diego as a solo practitioner, in order that I might provide highest quality legal services to local businesses in a much more personalized and cost effective manner. Unlike the so-called “big firms” which put a team of senior and junior lawyers and paralegals on every file and whose names you may never know, I personally handle every file. When you call the office, you will get me on the phone. When you send a letter or an e-mail, I will respond immediately. You will know me and I will know you, and whenever you need me, I will be there for you.
